Easter Bunny comes to Universal Orlando with new live performances by “Hop” movie characters

Now through April 5, guests at Universal Studios Florida can meet the characters from Hop, Universal Pictures’ upcoming animated film about the Easter Bunny’s comedic antics in the real world. The characters are performing live at the French Quarter stage within the New York area of the theme park, followed by a meet-and-greet and photo op with guests.

Hop hits theaters on April 1, 2011 featuring the voices of Russell Brand and Hugh Laurie as Easter Bunnies, Hank Azaria as an “evil chick” named Carlos, along with live action stars James Marsden and Kelly Cuoco. The film’s plot follows a rabbit named E.B. (Brand) who is set to takes over as the Easter Bunny from his father (Laurie), but is hit by a car after leaving home to pursue a career as a rock ‘n’ roll drummer instead.
