Each year Universal Orlando hosts a multi-week Mardi Gras celebration at their Universal Studios theme park that not only includes an upbeat parade but also a line-up of concerts featuring famous artists.
Today Universal announced the acts and dates for performers at Mardi Gras 2011:
The Mardi Gras concert line-up includes musical acts spanning generations. Performances from Jared Leto’s Thirty Seconds to Mars, Sean Kingston, and Ne-Yo are sure to appeal to today’s teenagers while The Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and KC & The Sunshine Band and others will reach out to older park guests.
Concert times are February 12 – April 9 at 8:30 pm and April 16 & 23 at 9:30pm.
In addition to these concerts the Universal Studios “French Quarter Courtyard” features more entertainment such as New Orleans-inspired food creations by Universal’s chefs, including jambalaya and Po Boy sandwiches, as well as authentic New Orleans bands performing Blues, Jazz and Zydeco.
Regardless of age, the Mardi Gras concerts will provide live entertainment for all who pass through Universal Studios Florida on the scheduled dates, as they are included with park admission.
