SeaWorld Orlando recently joined the holiday spirit, beginning its Christmas Celebration 2010 featuring a few new festivities.
New to this year’s Christmas Celebration is the Sea of Trees, where guests discover 75 massive trees, each sparkling, lighted and choreographed to classic holiday tunes, around SeaWorld’s center lake. Also new is The Christmas Market, located on the park’s Bayside Pathway, featuring one-of-a-kind gifts and plenty of edible holiday treats.
Returning from past years are Shamu Christmas … Miracles, featuring SeaWorld’s famous whale, and Winter Wonderland on Ice, combining water fountains, fireworks and talented ice skaters. Also returning is Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas, a Christmas comedy featuring sea lions Clyde and Seamore along with a few otters and a jolly walrus or two.
Here’s a video overview, provided by SeaWorld, of all of their entertainment offerings during their Christmas Celebration:
I’ll be exploring SeaWorld during this festive time tonight and will return with pictures and thoughts of my own on their take on the holidays. (I’m particularly looking forward to seeing the Sea of Trees in person.)
SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration is included with park admission. For more information about SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration or to purchase tickets, visit SeaWorldOrlando.com.
