Build-A-Bear Workshops celebrate Star Wars product launch with 501st Legion of Stormtroopers at Disneyland

in Disney, Disneyland Resort, Merchandise

The 501st Legion of Stormtroopers invaded Build-A-Bear Workshops across the U.S. and Canada on Saturday, Sept. 25th, 2010, to help all bear-lovers celebrate the launch of new Star Wars-themed merchandise, including a new bear and sound effects. Prior to the official debut of the new bear, there were four Star Wars outfits and a single pajama set available. Now more outfits and even light sabers with sound have been added to the product line.

Build-A-Bear’s Downtown Disney location in Anaheim, CA was one of the lucky stores to get a visit from the 501st and many fans showed up to join in the fun by getting pictures and autographs (in their Disney autograph books, of course).
