This is the cheapest fast past I can buy. Bag of balloons, pop a few, then have the park to myself

You must be an idiot making light of this situation is ridiculous Are on high alert as they should be with so many shootings in the United States. All it takes is a couple people to think it was a gunshot for that to spread like wildfire throughout the park and these people are mainly there with their young children and their families and their first reaction is to protect, causing the mob to run to the exits. It’s not funny making a stupid statement like that when indeed these people were very scared. You need to put your big boy pants on and think before you write stupid shit like this which could’ve been a very serious situation. Had it been a gun. And it’s happened. It’s so many places why couldn’t it happen there?

Guests need to be screened especially if they have violent tendencies or arrest records. Disney represents class not trash. If people can’t behave in public they need to stay out!

Ava, Disney legally can’t access arrest or mental health records, even if they had the technology. So your statement made no sense. Do you want people in various areas of your life to have access to your personal information? Then why can’t Walmart have that information before you go shopping??

We were actually on the property with one of our grandchildren on Main Street in Magic Kingdom when this all happened, (my wife and I are even in the video which was seen by many). The entire even was very scary, but mostly because of the way people reacted to it out of panic. Our grandchild who is a teen was only a few feet from us and was taken with many others into a secure location by WDW security and was watched by police and medics. We were fortunate to have cell phone contact with him while we waited in place inside the store where we were when it happened. In the end we were directed to meet him at the Fire Hall and he was being held there with many others under watch. Thankfully another set of parents had stayed very close to him also because he was scared. Disney handled this very well in my opinion and the response was almost immediate with security directing everyone to stay in place inside and stay calm and stay down. We don’t even know how they got those people (like our grandson)) out of site and into safety (we now know where) so quickly but we are glad they did. In the end people did panic and many could have been hurt worse in the stampede. We believe Disney did an excellent job of dealing with this situation.
