Looking for the Disney Parks rundown for rollercoasters at Walt Disney World Resort? One of the new rides at Disney World in 2023 is a long-awaited rollercoaster that opened in April 2023. TRON Lightcycle. This one-of-a-kind Tomorrowland ride is located in Magic Kingdom Park and amazes Guests with a high-speed ride that is out of this world! Experiencing this new Disney World Park coaster is on my Disney to-do list for my summer visit.

If you’ve heard that Space Mountain closed this summer, don’t worry- the routine maintenance ended in late June, and now this galaxy-crossing coaster is back in operation. Space Mountain is a fantastic ride for many reasons, but it tops my list during the summer months. The ride queue is almost entirely inside, making it a great place to relax in the air conditioning while waiting for your ride time.

How Many Disney World Rollercoasters Are There?

Disney rollercoasters deliver thrills and fun, making them some of the best rides at Disney World. If you’ve seen a list like the “Top 10 rollercoasters in Disney World”, you’ll be surprised to hear – there are technically only 8 rollercoasters at Walt Disney World Resort. Yep, it’s true!

When you exclude log flume rides (Splash Mountain), intense thrill rides (Twilight Zone Tower of Terror), simulators (Star Tours, Avatar Flight of Passage), and water Park rides, you are left with 8 Disney World Resort rollercoasters.

The great news is these coasters will keep you reeling with fun, and there are plenty of thrill rides, simulators, spooky rides, and Disney Water Park slides to enjoy for an adrenaline rush alongside the rollercoasters in these four Parks.
