DINOSAUR, a dark, loud and thrilling experience located in the DinoLand U.S.A. section of the Park, has been a staple of Disney’s Animal Kingdom since it first opened with the park in 1998, under the name Countdown To Extinction. The ride has no doubt provided countless hours of joy as well as terror to those brave enough to strap into the time rover and travel back to the Cretaceous period. But did you know when the ride first opened, the attraction was actually sponsored by Mcdonald’s?
User Disneyfreak (@disneyfreak) let his viewers in on this little bit of Disney Parks trivia, referencing this long-gone partnership in a TikTok. They point to a few red, yellow and white tubes which feature extremely long and complicated sets of numbers and letters. Well, these numbers and letters are actually the chemical formulas for, you guessed it, ketchup, mustard, and mayo, staple ingredients that Mcdonald’s uses every single day.

This secret, which Guests would most likely miss as they wait in the “underground” queue for the attraction, is just another example of the mind-bogglingly-insane attention to detail that Walt Disney World can offer.

A paleontologist recruits you for a secret mission to bring a 3.5-ton Iguanadon back to the present. There’s just one problem—the giant meteor that wiped out life on Earth is on the way!
