Trail’s End Restaurant at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has recently reopened to Guests after being temporarily closed due to the ongoing pandemic. Now that the restaurant is officially reopened, there are some changes many have already noticed — including Trail’s End no longer offering their famous buffet and instead offering a new menu.

As far as dinner goes, the new menu also has some noticeable changes. For example, it no longer includes the famous fried chicken, but it does include new add-on options.

Per Disney Parks Blog:

Dinner at Trail’s End is a rootin’ tootin’ good time that starts with hushpuppies and skillet cornbread with a chopped garden salad for the table. The family-style Smokehouse Skillet comes with pecan-smoked brisket, rotisserie chicken, andouille sausage, fingerlings potatoes, green beans, and buttered corn on the cob. Pork spare ribs, peel n’ eat shrimp, and cornbread-crusted salmon are available as tasty add-ons to your meal.

Originally, the pork spare ribs cost an additional $9.99 while the peel n’ eat shrimp cost $8.99 and cornbread-crusted salmon cost $7.99. Now, the menu has been updated, and all three options are now priced at $9.99.

As reporter Scott Gustin pointed out on Twitter:

Update: It looks like Disney already increased the price of a few of the “Dinner Add-On’s” at Trail’s End:

At this time, it looks as though the add-on options are the only items to receive a price increase, but Inside the Magic will continue to monitor the Trail’s End menu and keep you updated.
