Mobile Ordering has been highly enforced during the ongoing pandemic at Walt Disney World for both the safety of Cast Members and Guests. Now, as we continue to move forward, one EPCOT quick-service location has completely removed the Mobile Order option and returned to walk-up only.

On the flip side, two other locations in EPCOT have been added to the Mobile Order option in the My Disney Experience app.

According to bioreconstruct on Twitter, Sunshine Seasons food court, located inside The Land at EPCOT, is now walkup only. This quick-service location is no longer accepting Mobile Order as an option at all! (This is also reflected in the Mobile Order section of the My Disney Experience app, which you will see later in the article). Per bioreconstruct:

Sunshine Seasons food court in EPCOT Land pavilion has returned to walkup only. No mobile orders. Current menu boards.

This is interesting as Mobile Order was introduced prior to the pandemic, meaning that this idea was something Disney had been working on long before COVID-19 hit. In fact, prior to the temporary theme park closures, Mobile Order and walk-up were both offered at many quick-service locations so that Guests could order food whichever way they preferred. So seeing Sunshine Seasons completely eliminate Mobile Order is interesting.

However, it doesn’t seem like Disney will be eliminating Mobile Order completely across the theme park as two other locations have just been added to Mobile Order — Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion and Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion.

This is reflected in the Mobile Order section of the My Disney Experience app:

Again, at this time Disney has not announced if Mobile Order would be eliminated from other quick-service locations, but since this service was offered even prior to the pandemic, it is highly unlikely Disney would completely remove Mobile Order from the theme parks. Inside the Magic will update you as we get information.
