The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is not only accepting reservations for the month of October and beyond.
When we shared the news that Disneyland Hotels were only accepting reservations Mid-September and beyond, we were advised, even then, to book for October 1 or later. Now it appears that it is no longer a suggestion.
Please note these new reservation dates are not at all indicative of any reopening date and we continue to wait for more official information from Disney regarding the reopening of Disneyland Resort.
There is little doubt this news will not come as a disappointment to many Disneyland fans eager to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth, as it comes on the heels of such hopeful news like Cast Members being spotted at the gates of Disney California Adventure Park, horses returning to Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, and attractions being tested.
California Governor Gavin Newsom mentioned at a press conference on September 2 that the state is “actively working” on a Disneyland reopening plan and both Disney Parks, Experiences and Product Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Walt Disney World Resort Vice President of Operations Jim MacPhee have stated that Disneyland has been ready to reopen since July. They are only waiting on the guidelines from Governor Gavin Newsom and the State of California.
Disneyland Resort Hotels
The Disneyland Resort hots three different hotels on-property, each of which offers its own unique experience for its own individual rates. While reservations are still possible from October 1 and beyond, Disneyland reminds those visiting its website that all three resort hotels remain closed for the time being. It should also be noted that Disneyland has paused all ticket sales and Annual Passport renewals.
Disneyland describes each hotel on its website as the following:
