Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida recently announced their reopening plans and dates for the theme park. Along with these plans, Disney also announced quite a few changes that would take place when the Disney parks reopen in order to help keep the theme park safe.

Many of the changes occurring due to the temporary closures are affecting some of Disney’s most valued guests — Its annual passholders.

We recently reported that upon reopening, the Walt Disney World Resort is implementing a new reservation system in order to manage capacity. Part of this reservation system includes Annual Passholder entry. And although we know that Disney values their Annual Passholders, due to this unprecedented time, an annual pass will not guarantee park entry.

It now looks as though that Disney World is slowly implementing the new reservation requirements system for annual passholders! The Walt Disney World Annual Passholder blockout calendar has just been updated. The calendar now reflects that reservations are required for dates when annual passholders want to enter the parks.

The calendar is now showing the new reservation system which will have to be used once the theme parks reopen.

As you can see in the screenshots below, Disney World annual passholders must make a reservation prior to visiting the theme parks. The days highlighted in green show that reservations are required while the days in grey show these dates are blocked out.

The calendar for Walt Disney World annual passholders goes from June 2020 through June 2021. Right now, we are unable to actually make reservations for the theme parks, however, at least we have a small glimpse at what the reservation required system looks like.

Inside the Magic also checked out the Disneyland Resort website to see if anything changed for Annual Passport holders, but unfortunately, at this time it looks as though the AP calendar hasn’t changed.
