Disney’s PhotoPass at Walt Disney World is a service that allows guests to get photos of the entire family, so no one is ever left out. Disney photographers are located throughout Walt Disney World property, ready to pose you and your family for that perfect portrait — Capturing the memories for a lifetime.

We put together a “Know Before You Go” list of things you may not have realized about the Disney PhotoPass Service at Walt Disney World.

Disney PhotoPass Locations

There are several locations across Walt Disney World property that offer Disney PhotoPass service. From meet and greets with Disney Characters to Dining locations, Disney PhotoPass Photographers are there to help capture your vacation memories.

You can check your MyDisneyExperience app to find specific locations of PhotoPass for the day you are visiting the park. Just simply go to the map tab and filter the search results by clicking the PhotoPass checkmark!

Some examples of Disney PhotoPass locations include:

  • Magic Kingdom:
    • Agrabah Bazaar Meet and Greet where guests can have photo opts with Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie
    • Ariel’s Grotto Meet and Greet where guests can meet Ariel
    • Cinderella Castle
  • EPCOT:
    • China Meet and Greet where guests can meet Mulan
    • Epcot Character Spot where guests can have photo ops with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy
    • International Gateway Bridge
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
    • Expedition Everest Overlook
    • Tree of Life
    • Adventurers Outpost Meet and Greet where guests meet with Mickey and Minnie
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
    • Hollywood Blvd
    • Disney Junior Meet and Greet
    • Sunset Blvd
    • Toy Story Land Entrance
  • Other Locations on Disney World Property:
    • Select Dining Locations including 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park, Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue Dinner show at Fort Wilderness Resort and more.
    • Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where children can get their photo taken both before and after the makeover.
    • Both of Disney’s water parks — Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach — on a seasonal basis.

Memory Maker

Disney’s Memory Maker service allows guests to download all of your Disney PhotoPass photographs and videos that are captured during your vacation–all for one price. If you purchase Memory Maker three or more days before your vacation starts, it will cost you $169. If you aren’t sure if Memory Maker is for you and you decide to wait and purchase during or after your vacation, it will cost $199.

In honor of the 15th anniversary of Disney’s PhotoPass, Walt Disney World is offering Eligible Service Members and their spouses Memory Maker at a special price of $98. And if photos mean a lot to you and your family, this may be a great deal for you.

Digital Downloads

After you visit a photo booth whether that be in the parks or over at Disney Springs, guests will have the opportunity to take home a digital download of the photo strips they capture (as well as all of their other PhotoPass photos) as part of the Memory Maker service.

Onboard Photo Capture

There are a total of 13 Walt Disney World attractions that offer onboard photo capture. Once you link the attraction photo captured to your Disney account at attractions like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, or (recently added) Haunted Mansion, you will also see an animated magic shot/video!

Super Zoom Magic Shot

Recently, Walt Disney World added a new Super Zoom Magic Shot which allows guests to capture the family in front of Cinderella Castle like never before.

With weather permitting, from 9am through 7pm, guests can look for a photographer in the East Plaza Garden at Magic Kingdom, who will assist with capturing a one-of-a-kind video as well as two photographs from a different perspective.

Although guests can preview all of these in their Disney account, the video is only downloadable for those with Memory Maker. Take a look at the example below:

PhotoPass Studios

Head over to the Marketplace at Disney Springs, the second floor at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, or Sir Mickey’s at Magic Kingdom to access the PhotoPass Studio. Open to all guests with no reservation needed, this allows families to capture photos in front of either a standard backdrop or an assortment of Disney-themed virtual backdrops.

Magic Shots

It wouldn’t be Walt Disney World without a little bit of magic, right? Disney’s popular Magic Shots allow photographers to sprinkle a little bit of pixie dust on guests’ photographs.

There are more than 50 Magic Shots across Walt Disney World property, but they are constantly changing. You can ask a PhotoPass photographer for any Magic Shots they offer, or if you are looking for something specific, they can point you in the right direction.

Personalized Products Featuring Your Photos
