Toymaker McFarlane makes magic this July with new highly detailed Harry Potter figures. Ultimately, five collectible characters apparate as part of the collection.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione appear as they did in the franchise’s final film. Also, McFarlane conjures up Buckbeak and Lord Voldemort, completing the first wave of figures.
Famous for finely detailed figures, McFarlane toys cast their spell on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Materializing this summer, five favorite faces from the franchise find their way to retailers.
McFarlane’s Gryffindor gathering
McFarlane artists sculpted the trio to match their appearance in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt2.” Thus, Harry, Ron, and Hermione lead the first wave. This trio of Gryffindor friends carries their chosen wand. Additionally, each young wizard comes with their own personal Patronus. All three measure seven inches tall. Plus, expect easy posing possibilities with 22 points of articulation. Hermione and Ron’s Patronus (otter and terrier) stand 4” high and about 3” long. However, Harry’s Patronus commands more attention. Glowing blue, the stag measures 5 by 3.5 inches. Expect Harry, Ron and Hermione figures to cost $21.99 when released in stores.
Heroic Hippogriff from McFarlane Toys
Buckbeak, who appeared in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” stands 10 inches tall. Part eagle and part horse, his wingspan stretches 13 inches across. Furthermore, 10 points of articulation allow Buckbeak’s tail, head and wings to move. This majestic magical creature will cost $27.99.
Villainous Voldemort
Lord Voldemort also apparates as he was seen in the final film. Accompanied by Nagini, his poseable snake, He-who-must-not-be-named stands seven inches tall. Dressed in flowing black fabric robes and carrying the Elder Wand, Voldemort comes crafted with “Ultra articulation” (22 moving parts). Like Harry, Ron, and Hermione, this McFarlane action figure will set muggles back $21.99 in stores.
