Bigfire Grill at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk is the ultimate destination to enjoy a lakeside-style grilling experience, designed for guests looking to sit back and relax after a long day in the parks.
According to Ric Florell, Executive Vice President, Revenue Operations, Universal Orlando, this all-new restaurant was inspired by the lifestyle of great and interesting food, friends, family and a comfortable place to go.
The theming of the restaurant was designed to appear as a lakeside home where you go to relax and be with your friends and family. Floral explains that the story of the restaurant is that it started out as a singular building and as the family grew and friends grew, so did the building. That is why the flooring in the restaurant is different throughout the establishment, they’re all additions.
Outside there is a fire pit and comfortable chairs for guests to sit and relax, similar to if they were actually lakeside. Open fire grilling is one of the oldest forms of cooking and this establishment is a resurgence of that.
As far as the food, we got in on media day before the restaurant opened giving us a look at nearly everything available on the menu. What we tried was fire-grilled and delicious, just as you would expect, but take a look at these pictures and decide for yourself what items are on your list to try. The eatery offers the following:
