Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is preparing for its grand opening on May 31st at Disneyland Resort. Today they provided eager fans like us with another tease. This time it’s in the form of a 360 video they shot inside the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

The new video while devoid of many of the details of the attractions we want to see does give us a glimpse inside the new ride and the outstanding attention to detail. Honestly, at this point, the ride itself could stink and I would still wait in line just to experience the opportunity to be inside the Millenium Falcon.

Thankfully from what we know from prior leaks and teases the ride is going to be amazing. We already reported from one of the few ride operators who have had significant flying time aboard the Millenium Falcon that the new attraction will be the combination of Star Tours with the breathtaking technology of Flight of Passage. Next layer some epic effects and the chance to fly something fans only dream about, and that won’t even come close to what this attraction will actually be like.

The backstory for the attraction is that Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will follow the story of Hondo Ohnaka, a pirate, who has cut a deal with Chewbacca for the use of the Millennium Falcon. In the attraction, park guests will serve as the ship’s pilot. The experience will allow guests to see real-time results of their actions, including that of knocking over a spire during takeoff.
