When creating Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Walt Disney Imagineering wanted a land that fully immersed its guests in Star Wars storytelling, using all five of their senses. Thus, food and drink played a significant role in the land, including the environments these are found in and Disney didn’t spare any details when creating Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo!

At Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, which is housed in a working hangar bay, guests really will feel as if they’ve gotten the food on their plates off of a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is run by Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs, who’s planet-hopping travels allow him to prepare fare with unusual flavors. One interesting design element found with this restaurant is what’s found on top of it, Tuggs’s transport shuttle. Tuggs is in high demand for his intergalactic culinary abilities and so he used to move from site to site in the modified Sienar-Chall Utilipede-Transport, which now serves as a mobile kitchen and restaurant.
