“Avengers: Endgame” left fans with a lot of questions about Black Widow, who at this point in the MCU, has not been given a lot of character development in past Marvel films. However, according to a new series of tweets from @mistermygo, it appears this is about to change as these new social media posts all point to production moving forward on Marvel’s upcoming stand-alone “Black Widow” film.
This new series of Tweets first hit the internet yesterday, and they appear to be uploaded to the social media platform near the UK’s Pinewood Studios. According to Comicbook.com, this location is no stranger to the world of genre films as it was reported to have been used for this year’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” as well.
There's also some "Central Park" signage that I don't have a picture of, so Central Park in the #BlackWidow movie is actually in Buckinghamshire.

In the tweets, Stuart writes, “I don’t follow the #Marvel movies at all, but they’re filming the upcoming Scarlett Johansson thing in Black Park (next to Pinewood Studios). This was then followed by a second tweet by Stuart claiming that there were also “Central Park” signs that he didn’t have a picture of and that the Central Park in the “Black Widow” movie is actually in Buckinghamshire.
As excited as Stuart was to spill the beans on the news of the mega-movie’s possible production, it appears he later ran into some commenters online who believed the production he was seeing wasn’t for “Black Widow” after all and instead for “Morbius.”
Someone in my mentions is telling me this is a Marvel film called Morbius and not Black Widow ?♂️I don't know TBH.
The local rumours were that Black Widow was being filmed at Pinewood and they were shooting exteriors in the park, now not sure if that's correct?

Stuart didn’t know for sure. However, he did reference local rumors as another part of his source, which claimed that “Black Widow” was being filmed at Pinewood and that the studio was shooting exteriors in the park. As one might imagine, Marvel Studios has not confirmed whether the production of the film has begun or not. Although, from these tweets, there is a really good chance that it has.
What we do know about the film so far is that Scarlett Johansson will be reprising her role as Black Widow. Based on the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” the film will be a prequel film, probably an origin of some sorts showing the early life of Natasha Romanoff.
An official release date for the film is unknown. Although, a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter claims the film should be released sometime in 2020, with Johansson serving as one of the film’s producers.
Just recently, Disney revealed a bunch of release dates for upcoming Marvel films taking place through 2023, this film will more than likely slide into one of two dates in 2020, either 5/1/20 or 11/6/20.
