The hitchhiking ghosts of the Haunted Mansion can finally follow you home thanks to the new Disney PhotoPass opportunity available at the beloved attraction.

Starting April 2, Disney PhotoPass service will capture a spooky photo of your Doom Buggy traveling through the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World. Of course, several of the mansion’s happy haunts will come out to socialize and appear in your photo, too.

Want to keep this memento mori forever? “To preview, purchase and download this attraction photo, you must be wearing a MagicBand or MagicBand 2 Icon in a MagicKeeper that’s linked to your Disney account. When you do, your photo will be automatically linked to your account, where it can be previewed at Disneyworld.com/PhotoPass or in the My Disney Experience app,” says Disney.

This is the 13th attraction photo capture opportunity available at Walt Disney World, and to celebrate the haunting occasion, Disney is offering a few special opportunities around the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom Park on April 13. Starting at 9:00 AM and available during daylight hours, the photographer near the Haunted Mansion exit will offer pictures with a “Tomb Sweet Tomb” prop. This photographer also offers an animated Magic Shot featuring the Haunted Mansion’s ominous gates.

Two more Magic Shots will be available all day and night, beginning at 9:00 AM. The photographer near the hearse in front of the Haunted Mansion can capture a photo with the famous Hitchhiking Ghosts. And over near the entrance to the Liberty Square Riverboat, a photographer can help you come face to face with the Hatbox Ghost.

Once darkness falls, even more photo opportunities materialize. The photographer outside of Memento Mori will capture the glowing Mickey icon-shaped orbs that surround the spooky estate. Near the Haunted Mansion exit, you can pose for a photo with the caretaker’s lantern.

For an extra-chilling souvenir, visit Memento Mori on April 13 to take home an 8×10 lenticular portrait of yourself morphing into a ghostly figure. This souvenir costs $13.13 plus tax.

Over at Liberty Square Market, you can find a special sweet treat inspired by the Haunted Mansion’s clock. This Midnight Fright Delight “browkie” is available for $6.99 plus tax.

And finally, the Cadaver Dans will conjure up some tunes at Liberty Square after the sun goes down.

Remember, April 13 is your chance to experience the Magic Shot opportunities, dessert, and the special appearance by the Cadaver Dans. However, the new on-ride Haunted Mansion PhotoPass will continue to haunt guests on a daily basis.

To take home all your Disney PhotoPass pictures from your Walt Disney World vacation, you can purchase Memory Maker. This package includes unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass pictures and videos, select attraction photos and videos, select character dining photos, discounts on prints of your photos, and Magic Shots featuring Disney characters and more. If you purchase Memory Maker at least three days before your trip, the cost is $169. You can purchase after your vacation for $199. To purchase, visit the Walt Disney World website.
