Disneyland Hotel

The Disneyland Hotel is the most magical place to stay on Disneyland Resort property. It offers everything from unforgettable dining and breathtaking views to an epic water slide and a relaxing atmosphere. But how much will it cost you to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, and is it worth the price?

While we’ll never say no to a trip to Disneyland, we are often cautious about when we choose to stay on property because of the standard steep prices. But don’t worry; the Disneyland Hotel doesn’t always have to cost you an excessive amount of cash. You can stay at the Disneyland Hotel for a fraction of the standard cost by taking advantage of the 2019 travel deals that Disney has to offer several times a year. And during your stay, there are more than enough amenities to make your vacation worth the cost, no matter what you pay. Here are the top reasons why you should plan a trip to stay at the Disneyland Hotel this year (and some tips for making your stay a little more affordable).

2019 travel deals

First things first: the cost. A Disneyland Hotel vacation (or staycation, if you’re a local annual passholder from southern California!) doesn’t have to break the bank. You and your wallet can reach a happy medium if you take advantage of the 2019 travel deals Disney has to offer. We’ve shared some of the best deals so you can save money on an early 2019 vacation, but Disney will continue to publish their seasonal hotel offers as the year goes on. Keep checking the Disneyland website to stay up to date on the latest travel deals for the Happiest Place on Earth. Additionally, check out our post of every way you can save money on your 2019 Disney vacation.

Amazing views and theming

With its close proximity to the Disneyland theme parks, the Disneyland Hotel offers amazing views of Disneyland, Downtown Disney, Disney California Adventure, and of course the hotel grounds. The hotel encompasses three towers themed to different lands in Disneyland: Fantasy, Frontier, and Adventure. Each tower provides guests with not only amazing views, but also excellent theming, making vacations magical no matter which hotel room you book. These views and theming, combined with the location, make this hotel a fan favorite among tourists and locals alike.

Relaxation and fun for the whole family

The Monorail-themed waterslide makes the Disneyland Hotel pool our favorite pool on property, and the beautiful grounds make it the perfect place to relax any day of the year. We love that this hotel offers relaxation and fun for guests of all ages. Aside from the one-of-a-kind pool, the hotel grounds themselves are immaculate and peaceful. With lush gardens, picturesque gazebos, comfortable lounge areas, and an overall happy and cozy atmosphere, this hotel has it all. Your kids can play on the waterslide while you lounge comfortably poolside with a beverage from Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. Or you can have a romantic coffee and Dole Whip date outside The Coffee House. Whatever strikes your fancy, the Disneyland Hotel offers the perfect balance between play and rest.

Best dining on property

We’ve shared the top places to eat at Downtown Disney and the Disneyland hotels. But if you want a hotel that offers a variety of dining options, you’ve got to stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Tangaroa Terrace, the poolside quick-service dining location, just reopened with an all-new menu, making it one of the must-try dining locations on Disneyland property. Steakhouse 55 is the perfect place for afternoon tea or a romantic date. And if your kids want to meet characters without waiting in line, Goofy’s Kitchen is the place to be. We love the variety of cuisine offered at the Disneyland Hotel, from Asian-inspired fare and Dole Whips to high tea and the best steak on property. There’s something for every palate here.
