Police arrested Stefanie Lyn Bieser, a 47-year-old La Mirada woman, over the weekend on suspicion of fatally striking a 54-year-old Fresno man walking on Disneyland Drive.

According to Patch, late Saturday evening around 11:04 P.M., the victim was walking south on Disneyland Drive when a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser, headed north on Disneyland Drive (north of Katella Avenue), jumped the curb and struck a pole and an electrical box before hitting the man, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

Patch reports that emergency responders transported the pedestrian to UC Irvine Medical Center with major injuries, where he was later pronounced dead, Wyatt said. The name of the victim has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Bieser is expected to be charged on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs causing bodily injury, police said Sunday.

Unfortunate accident and my condolences to the family of the victim, but give it time the lawyers will somehow say Disney is responsible for this . . . .
