Disney-Pixar’s “Coco” will come to life at Epcot’s Mexico pavilion thanks to the talented musicians of Mariachi Cobre.

Starting, today March 6, Mariachi Cobre and two Folklórico dancers tell the story of Miguel, the young aspiring musician from the movie, as he shares his love of music and realizes the value of family connections. See the dancers perform to music from the movie while pulling guests into the celebration.

Miguel himself appears as a hand-crafted puppet, just as he appeared in “A Musical Celebration of Coco” at Disneyland Resort. You can see Miguel’s performance in “A Musical Celebration of Coco” in the video below.

“This new “Coco”-inspired show expands the repertoire of Mariachi Cobre, who will also continue enchanting guests at the Mexico pavilion with performances of traditional mariachi music,” says Disney. Mariachi Cobre performs several times throughout the day at the Mexico pavilion, and you can check their performance schedule on the Walt Disney World website. Their 25-minute shows feature traditional folk music from Jalisco, Mexico.

In addition to this new “Coco” show today the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2019, starts which runs through June 3. Guests can see dozens of Disney-themed topiaries, enjoy bites and drinks from various outdoor kiosks, see fan-favorite bands during an outdoor concert series, and more. Every year, this festival is a great way to welcome spring to Walt Disney World, and we can’t wait for what’s in store starting March 6.

Disney-Pixar’s “Coco” debuted in theaters in 2017, and the heartwarming tale quickly became a new Disney fan-favorite. Its memorable soundtrack includes “Remember Me,” which won the Oscar for Best Original Song, as well as “Un Poco Loco,” “Proud Corazón,” and more.
