Tables in Wonderland

For guests who love dining often at Walt Disney World’s palate-pleasing restaurants, Tables in Wonderland is the key to a happy wallet. Florida residents, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club members can enjoy this beneficial program all year long.

Special events, discount dining, and valet parking are all part of the perks of Tables in Wonderland. Scores of participating restaurants ensure there’s always a magical meal experience right around the corner.

Membership has its privileges

It might be secret to many, but Disney offers an amazing dining discount program for Florida residents, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members. Tables in Wonderland showcases Disney’s delightfully diverse dining destinations by offering discounts on food and beverages and making parking easier.

Dining Discounts

Over 100 Disney restaurants participate in Tables in Wonderland. From resorts (including the seaside sensation, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort), to international favorites found around Epcot’s World Showcase, all of these locations afford members a 20% discount on food AND beverage totals for parties up to 10 or 20 if the member’s partner has their own membership card (restrictions apply, see below).

Parking Perks

Making it easier to enjoy these discount dining destinations, Tables in Wonderland also provides members with free valet parking (for limited periods to enjoy meals only). This parking perk is limited to dining time and works at resort hotels (including Disney Springs) and theme parks.

For hotel valet parking, valet is limited to a single vehicle. Taking advantage of this benefit requires presenting the restaurant receipt along with the valet ticket when retrieving the vehicle. The restaurant must be located at the same resort where valet took place.

At theme parks (Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom), where entry ticket/admission is also required, two options exist:

  • Guests arriving prior to 5:00 pm must pay for parking up front. While in the theme park, a three-hour window is offered to enjoy the selected participating restaurant. Prior to exiting the park, a stop at guest services tenders parking refunds when parking receipt and dining receipt are presented (and time within the theme park is three hours or less).
  • Arrival after 5pm offers a much easier process. Members simply show their Tables in Wonderland ID card for parking access.

Special Events

In addition to dining discounts and parking perks, Tables in Wonderland members enjoy exclusive special events. These events are not eligible for the 20% savings but offer unique and engaging experiences within the culinary realm.

Chef’s Table Event at the Contemporary Resort Hotel

While Chef’s Table experiences are excluded from discount benefits, members have their own exclusive version tailored just for them.

“The evening begins with an innovative reception and champagne toast in the Catering Kitchen and then progresses through a secret entrance to the Chef’s Table. Once there, you’ll enjoy 6 courses—all presented and finished onstage—accompanied by an outstanding wine selection.” -Disney

Due to the formal environment, Disney imposes a dress code for attendance:

“Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements:

  • Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.
  • Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.
  • Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and T-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.” -Disney

This interactive and immersive formal event is for guests 18 and older and takes place several times during the year (please consult the Tables in Wonderland website for dates). Reservations for seating at the Contemporary Resort’s Chef’s Table Experience are made by calling 407-939-7762. Cost for the event is $259 per person (which includes tip). Canceling less than 24 hours before dining date results in full forfeiture of payment. Additional details (including check-in instructions) can be found online.

Culinary Adventures with the Chefs of Disney

Enjoy a three-hour tour featuring the art of preparing perfect meals which includes chef’s table seating to enjoy a five-course gourmet dining experience (including perfectly paired wines – for those guests over 21 years old).

Tables in Wonderland

Guests 12 years and older can experience, first hand, what it’s like to craft the delicious dishes Disney delivers. During this one-hour learning adventure, participants are assigned to various food prep stations (Sushi, Pasta, Butchery, Gardemanger, Patisserie or Sommelier). After meal making magic, mouthwatering dining commences with an exclusive chef’s table 5-course dinner.

To reserve this $259 per person (including tip) once in a lifetime culinary adventure, Tables in Wonderland members can call 407-939-7762 (see website for dates). NOTE: closed toed/heeled shoes are required for safety (guests wearing sandals, open toe or open heeled footwear will not be allowed to participate). Canceling less than 24 hours before reservation is penalized by forfeiture of full $259 price.

The Fine Print

While this palate-pleasing package packs preferred perks, there are a few limitations. In addition to not being able to combine the Tables in Wonderland discount with other discounts, the following restrictions apply:

  • Blackout Dates – Tables in Wonderland perks are not available on black out days. These include all major holidays (Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, and New Year’s Eve & Day). During those black out days, free valet service is also suspended (guests are still welcome to pay for valet parking on those days).
  • Chef’s Tables, where available, are not included in the program’s discount options.
  • Gratuities in the amount of 18% are added to all dining bills (despite the size of the party) with the exception of counter service restaurants and at House of Blues Restaurant and Bar.
  • Lost Membership Cards can be replaced, but Disney charges a $50 fee for doing so.
  • Membership is not transferrable and is valid for one year from date of purchase. Unfortunately, there is no renewal option, as a new membership must be purchased to enjoy benefits beyond the one-year term.
  • Only Food and Beverage is discounted with the Tables in Wonderland program. Merchandise, and/or photography services are excluded.
  • Payment by Credit Card requires that the name on the credit card matches the name on the Tables in Wonderland ID Card (as well as state ID).
  • Pre-Paid Dining requires tendering full price at the time of reservation (or show). Upon arrival, members simply show their Tables in Wonderland ID card to receive the 20% discount.
  • Special Dining Package Events are excluded from Tables in Wonderland. These include, but are not limited to, Candlelight Packages, Epcot International Food and Wine Dinner Packages and Fantasmic Dinner Packages.
  • Up to 10 people in the party (including the member) may receive the discount. This only applies if the Tables in Wonderland cardholder is paying the bill for all who are dining (up to 10). If the spouse or partner (living in same household, age 21 or older) has their own separate membership, the number of discounts for diners is doubled (up to 20).
