Disney Snack Review: Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls in Magic Kingdom

in Disney, Theme Parks, Walt Disney World

Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls

Disney vacations provide guests with magic at every turn. With exciting attractions, relaxing amenities and so much more, there is sure to be something for everyone. And if you’re anything like me, your favorite part of the trip will always be the food and maybe some food inspired merchandise.

Some of Disney’s snacks are nothing short of legendary. The Mickey Pretzel, The Mickey Premium Bar and the Dole Whip are just some of Disney’s most famous options. But if you’re only trying the classic snacks when you visit Walt Disney World, you are really missing out. Between their theme parks, their resort hotels and their dining and shopping districts, Disney has all kinds of amazing snacks to offer. Let’s take a closer look at one of those lesser-known offerings.

The Magic Kingdom is home to all of the Disney favorites, but it also offers dozens of seasonal and lesser-known treats. For example, the fan-favorite Cheeseburger Spring Rolls can be found at a small cart in Adventureland, between Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. But, did you know that cart also offers another option that changes monthly? January’s special option is the Buffalo Chicken Spring Roll.

If I’m being completely honest, both the Cheeseburger Spring Roll and November’s Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Spring Roll were better than this one. That being said, it’s a Buffalo Chicken Spring Roll, of course, it’s going to be good.

Personally, I thought they needed a bit more buffalo sauce and less onion. There wasn’t enough spice for my taste. They would be great for those who enjoy the taste of buffalo but want something that’s not so spicy.

As is always the case with these spring rolls, they’re a small serving size for the price you pay. At $7.50 for two spring rolls, they’re a pricey snack.

The only other difficult thing about this snack is finding it. As I mentioned earlier, this snack can be found at a small cart in Adventureland, between Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. If you’re walking from Jungle Cruise to Pirates, the cart will be on your left.

The spring rolls in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland are always a good choice, but this month’s Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls are not my favorite. Still, if you’re looking for something savory but don’t want a full meal, this is definitely the perfect treat for you.
