Hey “Star Wars” fans! We’re counting down until we can visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in person (or at least until Disney releases the official opening dates of the lands at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios). We know you’re just as excited as we are to pilot the Millennium Falcon and explore a galaxy far, far away, so when we came across these photo updates, we knew we had to share them with our readers at Inside the Magic.

Twitter user @bioreconstruct recently shared aerial photo updates of the construction progress at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and when we saw these Millennium Falcon shots, we were hooked. In one of the most recent Tweets, the Twitter user compared construction progress on the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction to the concept art released by Disney, and the resemblance is incredible.

We can hardly contain our excitement for the two epic attractions coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. And after seeing the construction progress on the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction, we think this will be very fan’s dream come true. We found out earlier this year that both Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be incredibly immersive attractions that give guests out-of-this-world experiences like nothing Disney has ever done before. If you want to read more details about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and what will become of the construction pictured below, take a look at our article all about the new land here.

In his posts on Twitter, @bioreconstruct writes more details about what he thinks we can see in the aerial photos, including the entry points to the land and attractions so fans can get a better idea of where everything will be in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In the photos, you can see the progress being made on the immersive theming surrounding the Millennium Falcon, which we think will add to the transportative experience of the attraction and land itself. The Twitter user’s photos also showcase where the land is in relation to the surrounding areas within the Hollywood Studios theme park.
