Kipling and Disney have teamed up for another collaboration, this time celebrating the beloved Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary.
The limited-edition 25-piece collection, launching January 30, includes backpacks, duffels, totes, handbags, waistpacks, and a new tote style that can be personalized with interchangeable pouches. The playful collection features a color palette of red, white, denim, and black, and lots of sketch-style art of the mouse of the hour. Prices for the collection range from $39 – $169.
“During the design process, our team thought back to Walt Disney as he conceptualized Mickey — everything was hand-sketched, artistic, and organic — and for our brand, we didn’t want to divert too far from the original aesthetic, however, we still wanted to create designs that felt unique,” says lead designer Christine Lee. “As a team, we brainstormed for hours and each time we came back to the term of self-expression. This kicked off the collection and inspired us to create unique graffiti patterns and bring a classic character to life in a modern and relatable way.”

Nina Flood, President of Kipling North America said, “We’re so excited to have created a globally-offered collection in celebration of everyone’s favorite mouse. We wanted to honor the character in an authentic way while staying true to our brand. We’re eager to share this collection with both Kipling and Mickey Mouse fans around the world.”
Recently, Kipling and Disney collaborated on a limited-edition collection inspired by “Mary Poppins Returns.” That 18-piece collection featured backpacks, handbags, totes, and more inspired by Mary Poppins’ practically perfect style. To see those items, click here.
