When you think of a Disney vacation, a few words probably come to mind: magic, adventure, fun, food. But do you ever think of a Disney vacation as relaxing?

Many Disney vacationers don’t realize that a place as fun and magical as Disney can be equally relaxing. And while staying on Disney property can offer some amazing benefits like cozy, comfortable rooms, beautiful swimming pools or championship golf courses, there is one thing that we believe can take your Disney vacation to a whole new level of relaxation: a day at a Disney spa. Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney cruise line each have spas that can completely elevate your vacation experience, providing you with options to relax and unwind in between your fun-filled Disney days.

Here is everything you need to know about Disney spas: where to find them and why you should add them to your vacation must-dos.

At Disneyland Resort, you can spend a day at Mandara Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Mandara Spa is a full-service spa and salon where you can receive a variety of treatments from massages and facials to manicures and pedicures. Like Disney’s Grand Californian, Mandara Spa is themed after the natural wonders of California, providing guests with an immersive escape into California’s redwoods. You also do not need to be staying at Disney’s Grand Californian in order to visit Mandara Spa, so if you are staying at another Disneyland hotel, a Good Neighbor hotel nearby, or you just want to experience a treatment at a Disney spa, you can do so. Visit the official website to book a treatment.

Walt Disney World is home to numerous spas and salons throughout the resort at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort. Just like at Mandara Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian, you can experience a variety of spa and salon treatments without staying at these resorts. This is a great option if you want to save money on your vacation by staying at a Value Resort but you still want to treat yourself during your Disney trip. Check out all of the treatments available at Senses Spa on the official website.

Disney Cruise Line

Perhaps the best spa experience you can get on a Disney vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. Senses Spa is located on each of the Disney Cruise Line ships and provides guests with full-service salon and spa treatments, just as the other Disney spas do. But what makes the spas aboard Disney Cruise Line unique is the Rainforest Room, where guests on Disney ships can experience a relaxing treatment inspired by the rainforests of the world.  Plus, you can even experience spa treatments at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. You can visit the official website to book a spa or salon treatment before your next Disney Cruise Line vacation.
