Tropical Hideaway

The Tropical Hideaway, in Adventureland at Disneyland park, began welcoming guests today. Tropical Hideaway is in the former home of Aladdin’s Oasis between the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.

Tropical Hideaway

To reach the Tropical Hideaway, guests can use the main bridge, go through Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, or travel the “Skipper’s Walk,” a pathway connecting from the Jungle Cruise loading dock.

Rosita from the Enchanted Tiki Room takes up residence in the new hideaway. From her perch on the dock, Rosita makes small talk with guests and has plenty of jokes and one-liners to share.

Below we have the Menu, Food & Atmosphere PLUS a video walkthru of the new restaurant.

Tropical Hideaway Food

At the marketplace, guests can sample a variety of foods from around the world. As Disney revealed earlier this summer, some of the offerings include 3 types of steamed bao buns: Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao. The marketplace also offers chilled ramen salad, tropical-inspired snacks, the delicious Pineapple Lumpia spring rolls (which are also served in Disney’s Animal Kingdom), and of course, refreshing Dole Whips.

Tropical Hideaway Atmosphere

Throughout the hideaway, other small touches add to the tropical adventure atmosphere similar to the Jungle Cruise and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
