Walt Disney World’s next festival could be your reason to visit in 2019

Walt Disney World is known for their fan-favorite festivals that take place almost every season at Epcot, and the next one in the festival line up could be your reason to visit Orlando in early 2019. Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts is the newest of the festivals at the theme park, but it has garnered enough fans to return in the upcoming year. And according to Disney, the festival is offering guests a palette of immersive experiences that are worth making the trip. Keep reading to find out more about this year’s offerings (and how you can book your workshop experiences!).

2019 International Epcot Festival of the Arts

Festival of the Arts is an immersive celebration of art, entertainment, and food. From January 19 through February 25, 2019, the festival will welcome guests to experience 39 days of delectable eats, artistic experiences, workshops, live entertainment, and more. The festival will feature 13 Food Studios all throughout Epcot, serving dishes in innovative and creative ways. Every festival at Epcot offers delicious food, but the Food Studios at Festival of the Arts are possibly the most special, made to be as interesting to look at as they are to eat.

In addition to amazing food, Festival of the Arts also offers a variety of workshops and seminars. Guests can participate in hands-on workshops and create their own works of art to bring home with them after their vacation is through. Workshops are 75 minutes long and they’re offered Friday – Monday. Workshop reservations are now open and can be made by calling (407) WDW-TOUR. The festival also offers numerous seminars for the visual arts, during which you can learn artistic techniques from professionals skilled in floral design, ink and paint, photography, and more. Seminars are included in park admission, but workshops are an additional fee.

Returning to the festival this year, the “Paint with a Disney Artist” experience is offered select Fridays and Sundays from 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Novice painters and seasoned pros can all learn from an accomplished Disney artist, plus a continental breakfast is included. To learn more or book this experience, call (407) WDW-TOUR.

We love the food offered at Festival of the Arts, and the workshops and seminars are one of a kind, but the Disney on Broadway Concert Series may be the best part of this festival. Concert viewing is included with park admission, but Disney also offers dining packages so you can guarantee a seat at a concert. Take a look at all of the performances at the 2019 festival:
