It’s that time of year again when you reevaluate your year in hopes of making the upcoming one even better. In honor of the New Year, we thought we would come up with our list of everything we want to accomplish at the Disney Parks in 2019, from boarding the Millennium Falcon to drinking as many cups of violet lemonade as we can. So join us as we cover the top five things you should discover at Disney Parks this year.

1. Visit a whole new park

Of course, we couldn’t make a list of Disney Parks New Year’s resolutions without prompting you to visit an entirely new theme park. If you’ve never been to a Disney park, then 2019 is definitely the year to do so. But if you’re used to visiting the theme parks on one coast or in one country, then we highly encourage you to try something new and visit a Disney park that you’ve never been to before. With all of the expansions and special events coming to Disney Parks around the world, there is no better time to plan a trip to one of the international Disney Parks than 2019.

2. Travel to a new galaxy

Whether you decide to fly on a banshee in Pandora or board the Millennium Falcon, there are plenty of opportunities to travel to a new planet (at Disney, that is). Pandora – The World of Avatar opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2017, bringing with it two epic attractions to Walt Disney World. If you haven’t flown on a banshee yet, you’ve got to book a trip to do so in 2019. Also opening in 2019 is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. We’re so excited for this land to open in Disneyland this summer and in Disney’s Hollywood Studios before the year is over, and we’re sure you are too. You don’t have to travel all the way to a galaxy far, far away in order to encounter some amazing adventures. Just book a 2019 Disney trip!

3. Ring in the Lunar New Year

We love having unique, unforgettable experiences at Disneyland Resort, and attending Disney’s Lunar New Year festival is definitely one of them. If this isn’t already one of your goals for 2019, you should add this to your list. Disney California Adventure hosts an annual Lunar New Year celebration honoring Asian cultures around the world with special performances, entertainment, and food offerings. We love that Disney continues to celebrate different cultures of the world, and Lunar New Year is one of our favorite events of the year.

4. Eat at as many festivals of possible

Speaking of special events, our next New Year’s resolution is eating the amazing food at as many Disney Parks festivals as possible. From Lunar New Year to Festival of Holidays, Food & Wine to Flower & Garden, Disney Parks have it all. Each of their epic festivals is filled with unique experiences across both coasts, but the food is what keeps us coming back. We love trying as many food items that each festival has to offer, and we hope to cross as many items off our Disney food bucket lists as possible in 2019.

5. Ride every new attraction

Okay, we know this one is ambitious, but we’ve got to try. There are so many new rides coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 2019, and we can’t wait to ride them all. We’d love to ride every new attraction and watch every show debuting this year, from Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Florida to Jessie’s Critter Carousel in California. Plus, with all of the epic new celebrations coming to Disney Parks in 2019 (like Mickey & Minnie’s bi-coastal birthday parties), there’s so much to discover this year. We’ve got to try to do it all!

Which of these must-do items is at the top of your Disney Parks New Year’s resolutions? Let us know what you’re excited to do at Disney in 2019!
