holiday drinks

Disneyland Resort brings unlimited joy and festivities every year when the holiday season officially begins in November. While the decorations and entertainment provide enough reasons to visit during the holidays, Disneyland’s incomparable food and beverage selections keep us coming back every chance we get. We’ve shared some of the must-eat items this holiday season at Disneyland, but we know that sometimes a delicious holiday drink is what you may be craving during your visit. Here’s our guide to where you can find the best holiday drinks at Disneyland Resort this season.

Caffé Mocha, Ghirardelli at Disney California Adventure

Ghirardelli is known for crafting delicious chocolatey desserts, and their shop in Disney California Adventure is a fan favorite year round. While their specialty sundaes can’t be beat, we love stopping here to pick up a delicious caffé  mocha to warm us up on those rare chilly Anaheim nights. And any mocha made with Ghirardelli chocolate is definitely a must-drink item.

Eggnog Latte, The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel

The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel is our favorite place to get our caffeine fix in all of Disneyland. We love the quick service atmosphere, the fun seasonal drink menu, and of course the Dole Whips. The Coffee House is currently offering an eggnog latte, and this is a must-try for any holiday beverage lover! This place also brews Joffrey’s Coffee and offers festive holiday donuts, so how can you go wrong?

Abuelita Hot Chocolate, Jolly Holiday Bakery Café at Disneyland

Any menu featuring Abuelita hot chocolate is a favorite of ours. We’ve mentioned how much we love the frozen Abuelita hot chocolate at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, and now you’ve got to head over to Jolly Holiday Bakery Café to try the hot version. Pick up some Abuelita hot chocolate to warm you up while you watch the evening showing of A Christmas Fantasy parade. There’s no better way to spend an evening at Disneyland.

Hot Cider with Rum, Hearthstone Lounge at Disney Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Hot cider is always a delicious winter beverage. Add a splash of rum and you’ve got a delicious treat for all the 21+ adults enjoying a Disney vacation. You don’t have to be a guest at Disney’s Grand Californian in order to soak up the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel lobby. So grab a drink from Hearthstone Lounge, sit by the fire, and listen to the beautiful piano music before heading into Disney California Adventure for some evening bites at Festival of Holidays. Sounds like the perfect night to us!

Cookie Shots, The Holiday Cart at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

We love holiday beverages and sweet treats. Combine the two and you’ve got the perfect winter snack! These cookie shots are available at the Holiday Cart in Disney’s Grand Californian. What we love most about them is that they are offered alcoholic and non-alcoholic, so your whole family can enjoy this treat in whatever way you choose! Our favorite combination is the cookie shot cup with chocolate milk; it takes Santa’s favorite Christmas treat to the next level.

Peppermint Affogato, Schmoozies! at Disney California Adventure

When we think of holiday treats, we always crave everything peppermint-flavored first. So when we found out that Schmoozies! was offering a peppermint affogato on their seasonal menu, we knew we had to add it to our list. This is a delectable holiday drink with espresso and peppermint ice cream, and it takes the well-known peppermint mocha to a whole new level.

When we said we love everything peppermint-flavored, we meant it. The chocolate peppermint shake at Flo’s V8 Café is another one of our must-try items this holiday season. Flo’s has been serving up delicious seasonal specialties for years, and this shake is one of the best on the menu. It’s topped with whipped cream and chocolate “road gravel,” and the souvenir Cars Land cup makes it perfect for pictures. You’ve got to try this one on your next holiday trip.

Which of these delectable holiday drinks will you try on your next trip to Disneyland Resort this season?
