Starting in January 2019, Disneyland park will host Get Your Ears On — A Mickey and Minnie Celebration with new entertainment and decor, limited-time food and beverages, and exclusive event merchandise.
Mickey Mouse celebrated his 90th birthday on November 18, 2018, and the party continues into 2019 at Disneyland. In the New Year, guests can honor Mickey and Minnie Mouse with the following special events:
Mickey’s Mix Magic
Debuting January 18, Mickey’s Mix Magic lights up the night at Disneyland park. The new high-energy projection show with lights and lasers uses Main Street, U.S.A., the water screens of Rivers of America, and the facade of it’s a small world to create a spectacle of sights and sounds. “DJ” Mickey spins dance versions of classic Disney melodies, offering a family-friendly dance party vibe for guests. On select nights, Mickey’s Mix Magic is enhanced with the addition of fireworks.
Mickey’s Soundsational Parade
This popular parade returns to Disneyland park on January 25 with an all-new opening inspired by classic Mickey Mouse pull toys. Mickey himself leads the procession of Disney characters, and Chip ‘n’ Dale arrive with a giant celebration cake.
Valentine’s Month
From January 22 – February 18, celebrate the month of love with Disney’s sweethearts, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Disneyland park will feature Valentine’s decor, including a new Mickey Mouse flower “portrait” on Main Street, U.S.A. In addition, Minnie’s Valentine Surprise offers a special scavenger hunt experience throughout Disneyland park. To participate, purchase a commemorative map and stickers at select merchandise locations and search for hidden valentines Minnie left for Mickey in the park.
Limited edition merchandise, food, beverages, and more
Exclusive Get Yours Ears On-themed treats, “classic” Mickey and Minnie-shaped foods with new twists, and Valentine-inspired items arrive during this special celebration. Limited edition celebration merchandise for all ages will also be available, including apparel, pins, plushes, and Mickey and Minnie ears.
