Christmas Tree Trail

New to the 2018 Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World is the addition of a Haunted Mansion, Star Wars, and Toy Story- themed Christmas trees.

During the holidays, Walt Disney World is full of magical celebrations found throughout all of its parks. But the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs is one special celebration that perfectly combines the magic of Disney and an age-old tradition of Christmas, the decoration of Christmas Trees. New to this year’s trail are three new trees that perfectly capture the essence of everyone’s favorite Disney films and attractions.

This first tree celebrates the merriness of the holidays, but also may have you in a spook from its friendly frights. The Haunted Mansion tree is themed after one of the most iconic attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The tree’s design is centered around the attraction’s ghostly bride lighting her way through the darkness with only a lantern containing the tree’s themed tree decoration.

Happy haunts found on the tree include a tombstone, melted candles, empty picture frames and a few other terrifying sights. Another iconic element this tree features is the haunting clock face from the attraction as its tree topper.

This next tree may inspire you to explore infinity and beyond this holiday season. Themed after Disney/Pixar’s “Toy Story” films, the tree includes several different elements made famous from the beloved movies.

Different decorations found on the tree include Alien Christmas ball ornaments, Sheriff stars, “The Big One” red rockets and paper chains. Buzz Lightyear and Woody ornaments are a highlight of this “Toy Story”-themed tree.

This last tree comes from a famous film franchise from a galaxy far, far away. Themed after Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars” movies, this tree is out of this world with all of its amazing decorations. Some of this tree’s interstellar ornaments include Jawa, Stormtrooper and BB-8 Christmas balls, Stormtrooper string lights, a utility belt, and stuffed Porgs.

A well-detailed design elements that really pops on this tree is its themed Christmas ornaments, which include miniature R2-D2 and C-3PO figurines. And what tops off this intergalactic display is its tree topper, an actual Lightsaber!

Santa Chalet

Another sight to take in, and where you can turn in your wish list to old Saint Nick, is at the Santa Chalet. Located just outside the entrance to the Christmas Tree Trail, here is where guests can sit and pose for pictures with Santa Claus. PhotoPass services are also available to take pictures of you and your loved ones at this holiday meet and greet location.

Guests can see the new themed trees at the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs from November 8, 2018, through January 6, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day. In total, the trail features 27 different trees themed to famous Disney characters and films. Santa’s Chalet will run at Disney Springs from November 8 through December 24 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
