Last summer, Walt Disney World began rolling out the adorable new Minnie Van transportation service. As of September 14, 2018, all guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort and guests at Bonnet Creek, Flamingo Crossings, and Hotel Plaza Boulevard Resorts can catch a ride in a polka-dotted van.

To use the service, download the Lyft app on your mobile device and open it from anywhere within Walt Disney World Resort. Select the Minnie Van option, then follow the steps below:

  • Confirm your current pickup location
  • Enter your Walt Disney World Resort destination and tap “Request”
  • The app provides a map tracking your vehicle en route, along with an identifying vehicle number to help you spot the right car
  • Payment is taken directly through the Lyft app

The Minnie Van service offers a comfortable and convenient way to travel to and from theme parks, resort dining reservations, and Disney Springs. Each private van is driven by a trained Disney Cast Member and is usually only a few minutes away.

Every car can accommodate up to 6 guests and is equipped with 2 versatile car seats. Vehicles can accommodate guests with standard wheelchairs, motorized vehicles and electric conveyance vehicles (ECVs); however, an additional wait time may be required.

In addition, Minnie Van airport shuttles are available for guests traveling to and from Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The airport shuttle costs $150 each way, and gratuity is not included. You can schedule the shuttle in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

Prices for the Minnie Van service vary based on distance traveled from pick-up location to your destination within Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll see the total cost and pay within the app. Previously, the Minnie Van service cost $25 per trip, per vehicle.

Minnie Van service is available from 6:30 AM – 12:30 AM daily (hours subject to change). You can use the Lyft app to see if there’s currently a car nearby.
