Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2018 brings popular ride overlays to Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and Mad Tea Party, transforming each attraction into spooky frights in celebration of the upcoming Halloween season.

Back again in 2018, the happiest haunting on Earth has returned to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom with not only candies, sweets and frightfully delightful treats, but also attraction overlays on everyone’s favorite rides.

WATCH – SPACE MOUNTAIN, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, MAD TEA PARTY OVERLAYS:

Space Mountain, most known for blasting its guests off on a rip-roaring rocket through the darkest reaches of outer space, faces complete blackout with its terrifyingly fun overlay. During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, visitors to the attraction are hurled even deeper into pitch black space as the mountain will be darker than ever before.

When guests take off on the attraction during event nights, they will be immersed in complete darkness with no bright flashing lights or stars to lead the way. The overlay also includes original rock n’ roll themed music, which only aids in making the experience even more intense.

Pirates of the Caribbean still lets guests set sail on a swashbuckling voyage to a time and place when pirates and privateers ruled the seas, only now the attraction features live pirates.

The new pirates invade the experience, interacting with sailing guests who join in the search for Gunpowder Pete, a scoundrel with an eye on the same treasure sought by Captain Jack Sparrow.

The Mad Tea Party still spins its riders ‘round and ‘round, but during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it features special lighting and other effects that put a glowing new spin on the night.

All of these experiences will only be available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events, which run on select nights from , 2018.

For more information on this spooktacular experience or to purchase advance tickets, be sure to visit the official Walt Disney World website.
