Disney Cruise Line shares details on 2 Canada itineraries, 3 new ports in Quebec

Disney Cruise Line is known for providing amazing vacations, bringing guests to incredible destinations with breath-taking sights, mind-blowing entertainment and wonderful cultural experiences.

In 2019, Disney Cruise Line will feature two brand new Canada itineraries, including three new ports of call – Quebec City, Saguenay and Baie-Comeau. All three ports feature incredible excursions and experiences for the whole family.

In Quebec City, cruisers can step out to experience French-inspired cuisine and European charm. The Historic Quebec with Montmorency Falls Port Adventure will provide breathtaking views and photo opportunities like the historic Place-Royale square, the iconic Château Frontenac hotel and the picturesque countryside of Quebec. It concludes with a stunning view of Montgomery Falls, a waterfall that is taller than Niagara.

The Huron-Wendake Village and Onhoua Chetek8e excursion will provide a unique cultural experience. Guests will be immersed in the culture of the Huron people as they are personally guided through their home and history.

The Quebec City Food Tour offers samples of a dozen delicious French-Canadian dishes of historical and cultural significance at local restaurants across Old Quebec, while the Microbrewery Tour provides adults with a chance to try the city’s best local drafts at a handful of microbreweries in trendy Saint-Roch district.

Saguenay is a historic settlement rich with French heritage, museums and art galleries, cultural delights and mouthwatering cuisine.

The Best of Saguenay Port Adventure offers a sampling of attractions that includes Saguenay Fjord, where you will explore the history of the natural wonder during a visit to The Fjord Museum as well as the historic paper mill, a thriving family wool business and the home of renowned painter Arthur Villeneuve.

The Zodiac Adventure at Saguenay and Sea Kayaking excursions allow guests to explore the wildlife-filled waters of Cape Trinity.

Finally in Baie-Comeau, cruisers will find a bustling young city with a beautiful natural landscape, featuring the tremendous Manicouagan Crater.

The Experience Glacier and Shell Valley excursion will allow guests to journey through the ice age. Visit the Garden of Glaciers and explore a glacier from top to bottom before heading to Seashell Valley, where you’ll dig up seashell remnants of an ancient sea in the middle of a forest.

Guests can also explore the local customs in the Baie-Comeau Heritage excursion or take a leisurely look at the beautiful sights with the Baie-Comeau Historical Walking Tour.

These exciting ports can be experienced on two seven-night Canada cruises on Sept. 20 and Sept. 27.
