We can all appreciate a good dog. So when one of Orlando International Airport’s (MCO) K-9 service dogs retired, it came as no surprise that they threw a party to show their appreciation.
K-9 Palmer retired this week after nine years of service, so MCO threw her a retirement party complete with decorations, snacks including pupcakes and of course, all of Palmers best K-9 friends. MCO shared a few looks at the party on their twitter account.
It’s Thursday and we’re celebrating, doggone it! Wishing a happy retirement today for one of most dedicated and hard-working employees. Stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/VDz7vwpgRd

For those wondering what Palmer is going to do now, she’s going to live her best life at the home of her handler of the last nine years, Kenny. May there be plenty of naps, squeaky toys and snoot boops in your future, pup! #HappyRetirementPalmer pic.twitter.com/sTkJISKKqT
