VIDEO: “Avengers: Infinity War” opens with cool costume displays after Marvel movie marathon at El Capitan Theatre

Bow down before the all-mighty Thanos! “Avengers: Infinity War” is now open nationwide, and as is usual with Disney-distributed feature films, there’s no better place to see it than Hollywood‘s historic El Capitan Theatre. The nearly century-old movie house across the street from Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard is home to a dazzling Avengers costume exhibit featuring more than a dozen characters.

The outfits worn by Captain America, Thor, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, among numerous other superheroes from “Avengers: Inifinity War” are on display around the El Capitan, and audience members are already getting a kick out of seeing real artifacts from the movie before and after they watch it on the big screen!

Tonight saw the end of a twelve-movie Marvel Cinematic Universe marathon at El Capitan, and to commemorate the occasion “Avengers: Infinity War” director Anthony Russo was brought out on stage to introduce the huge, sure-to-be-blockbuster new installment in the ongoing MCU.

Throughout the previous day and half of Marvel marathon-ing, attendees had been treated to appearances from MCU stars Paul Bettany (Vision), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Sebastian Stan ( Bucky Barnes), Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), Winston Duke (M’Baku), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), and composer Brian Tyler (“Avengers: Age of Ultron”). Guests also have the opportunity to get up close and personal the famous Infinity Gauntlet worn by Thanos (Josh Brolin) himself.
