Disney Cruise Line has partnered with ABC’s “The Chew” to create unique new food-and-beverage-themed Port Adventures celebrating the cuisine and culture of each destination.

Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Michael Symon, hosts of “The Chew,” have approved these one-of-a-kind Port Adventures. Each experience promises to be innovative and inspirational, just like the cooking and food trends explored on the daytime talk show.

So far, Disney Cruise Line has revealed three Port Adventure themes. In addition, they’re currently working with the team at “The Chew” to create new Signature Collection Port Adventures featuring recipes from the show prepared by local chefs at ports of call around the world. Below, learn more about the new Ports of Adventures offerings from Disney Cruise Line.

Culinary Classes

Learn how to create exotic specialties from around the world through hands-on seminars and programs led by top chefs. Discover the secrets to local favorites during a cooking lesson in Tuscany, a culinary boot camp on Prince Edward Island, or time at Klipfish Academy in Norway. Of course, you’ll get to sample your culinary creation at the end of class.

Epicurean Adventures

On select Port Adventures, savoring a tasty meal is only half the fun. In Alaska, you can feast on fresh seafood you’ve just caught on a fishing expedition off the coast of the scenic Tongass National Forest. In Italy, compete in a cooking challenge at a local farm after taking in the beauty of the Sorrento Coast and the ruins of Pompeii.

Wine & Dessert

Work alongside kitchen pros to learn wine appreciation and dessert creation. After touring an 18th-century wine cellar in the Bahamas, you’ll enjoy a 4-course meal with expertly paired wines. In Scotland, go on an excursion to discover the legendary Loch Ness monster and then decorate a cake inspired by the mysterious creature.

In the coming weeks, expect more details about “The Chew”-approved Port Adventures in Europe, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. For more information on Disney Cruise Line, visit the official website.
