WATCH – INSIDE THE GREAT LEGO RACE VIRTUAL REALITY COASTER:
Developed under the supervision of Merlin Magic Making, The Great LEGO race has transformed the existing Project X roller coasters found in three LEGOLAND parks around the world into a high-octane experience that puts Guests in the driver’s seat for a rollicking race against a colorful lineup of LEGO mini-figure characters. When Guests strap on their VR goggles, they are immersed in a LEGO environment where everything is made of LEGO bricks.

What’s so exciting about this new experience is that an ordinary roller coaster will now transport Guests to the world of LEGO with the use of VR goggles, similar to that of SeaWorld Orlando’s Kraken Unleashed attraction. Also, this will not only be LEGOLAND’s first integration of VR into one of their attractions, but it will also be the first virtual reality roller coaster experience designed specifically for kids.
To experience the attraction yourself, be sure to head over to LEGOLAND Florida. Riders must be at least 6 years old, 48 inches tall to ride, and wearing the virtual reality headsets during the experience is optional.
