The cloud-based digital streaming platform Disney Movies Anywhere has only been in operation for four years, having launched in February of 2014, but it’s already getting ready to say goodbye in favor of the new, more inclusive service Movies Anywhere, which just recently launched in October 2017.

Today Disney Movies Anywhere members received a final warning email stating that they had one last chance “to avoid losing your movies before the service discontinues.” In order to do so, users must migrate their accounts to Movies Anywhere by February 28th, when the original platform shuts down for good.

The email also provided step-by-step instructions as to how to go about transferring one’s movie collection from Disney Movies Anywhere to Movies Anywhere, by following three simple steps. And then, after successfully switching over, you can enjoy Disney films alongside titles from Fox, Sony Pictures, Universal, and Warner Bros.

Disney Movies Anywhere will continue to function through the end of next month, but after that the website and apps will no longer function. Of course, the Disney Rewards program continues and fans can still redeem points at DisneyMovieRewards.com. For more information on Movies Anywhere and transferring user accounts, be sure to visit Disney Movies Anywhere’s official support website.
