It’s the first day of December, and that means we’ve run out of excuses and it’s undeniably, officially Christmas season. Naturally, by now the holiday celebrations are already well under way at theme parks around Southern California, from Disneyland Resort to Universal Studios Hollywood to Knott’s Berry Farm. Just a little further south, the festivities are also in full swing at Sea World San Diego.

Around the park guests will find colorful lights and decorations, plus meet-and-greets with favorite characters from the classic Rankin/Bass stop-motion animated “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” holiday special. There’s even a full-fledged Santa’s Christmas Village, complete with sing-alongs, tasty treats, an elf dance party, and a visit with Santa Claus himself.
