On Saturday, September 23, the Smithsonian Institution is giving people the chance to visit some of the best museums around the country for free.

“Smithsonian” magazine’s annual Museum Day Live event takes place this weekend with more than 1,200 museums participating. To find a participating museum or gallery in your area, search by state or zip code on the Museum Day Live website. Once you’ve chosen a museum, fill out the online form here. Two free tickets will then be available to download on the website and sent to your inbox.

Some museums allow mobile tickets but others require a hard copy, so be sure to check the restrictions before heading out for your visit.

Free tickets don’t include extras like special exhibitions and IMAX movies, so you’ll have to add those on separately if you’re interested. Parking is not included either.

Participating museums include Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Orlando Museum of Art, and the Zimmer Children’s Museum in Los Angeles. The event is a great way to visit a museum you’ve been meaning to explore or find a hidden gem in your city.

For more information, visit the Museum Day Live website.
