Funko opens funky new headquarters in home state filled with Marvel, Star Wars, Disney favorites

Funko just moved into funky new headquarters in Everett, Washington, and it’s filled with pop culture references and toys from top to bottom.

CEO Brian Mariotti is from the area in Snohomish County and wanted to keep Funko HQ local, avoiding the temptation to move the growing company to a bigger city like Seattle. The new headquarters is located at 2802 Wetmore Avenue in a building that is on Everett’s Historical Register of Places.

The store features several themed areas including Star Wars, Disney, DC Comics, Harry Potter, Build-Your-Own Pop!, and Anime. It also includes Wetmore Forest, an original line of characters created by Funko to celebrate their new home on Wetmore Avenue.

Take a tour of the new Funko headquarters with guides Yoko and Cameron in the video below.

In addition to offering amazing merchandise, the company is committed to using the location to give back to the community. The new space features a public meeting room where Funko’s staff of 80 artists plan to donate time on the weekends, mentoring and teaching local kids about art and toy design.

There’s lots of fun for employees too. The upper part of the building has slides between floors and the basement has its own bowling alley.

For a chance to see the new Funko retail space in person, visit during store hours: Tuesday – Friday 11:00AM – 7:00PM, Saturday 10:00AM – 7:00PM, Sunday 11:00AM – 6:00PM. The store is closed on Mondays.
