Terralina Crafted Italian restaurant announced to replace Portobello at Walt Disney World this fall

We now have a name for the Italian concept restaurant that’s replacing Portobello Country Italian Trattoria at Disney Springs.

Terralina Crafted Italian is taking over the space this fall. James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano is curating the menu, while Chef Justin Plank is running the kitchen. The restaurant is inspired by the Lake District of Italy and is modeled after an Italian home with an open kitchen. A veranda bar will be featured next to the main entrance.

The menu will include artisanal pizzas and fresh vegetable dishes, as well as two new signature dishes: mussels and a grilled pork chop. A few Portobello favorites are on the new menu, including the antipasti platter and signature pastas.

“It’s been an honor to lead the concept and vision for Terralina Crafted Italian,” Mantuano said. “We wanted to create a dining experience that would transport guests to the shores of Italy. Focusing on the hearth of the kitchen, dishes will embody the passion and flare of the flames. Executive Chef Justin Plank and I cannot wait for guests to come in and have a taste of Italy.”

Terralina will be open for lunch and dinner. An official opening date is expected soon.
