Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

As announced this weekend at D23 Expo 2017, a long-rumored “Ratatouille” attraction is heading to Epcot.

Inspired by the 2007 Disney-Pixar film, the 4D attraction will expand the France Pavilion in World Showcase. The Ratatouille ride will be added to a new area just past the Eiffel Tower. The newly-announced version of the ride is similar to Ratatouille: The Adventure, a 4D attraction that opened in Disneyland Paris in 2014. According to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek, Ratatouille: The Adventure is now the most popular attraction in that park.

During the ride, guests shrink down to the size of the film’s star, a sophisticated rat named Remy. Riders must scurry to safety through the sights, sounds, and smells of Gasteau’s busy Paris restaurant.

When it arrives in Epcot, the Ratatouille ride joins another successful character attraction in the park. “Frozen Ever After,” which opened in 2016, takes guests on a journey through Arendelle with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and more. You can experience Frozen Ever After in our video below.
