VIDEO: Last surviving “Bambi” voice actors meet at Walt Disney Animation Studios to discuss masterpiece’s 75th anniversary

This week at the Walt Disney Animation Studios headquarters in Burbank, California, original voice actors Donnie Dunagan (Young Bambi) and Peter Behn (Young Thumper) were on hand to discuss the momentous occasion of the 75th anniversary of Walt Disney’s classic animated feature “Bambi.”

Dunagan and Behn, who were ages five and four respectively at the time of the audio recordings in the early 1940s, talked about meeting and working with Walt Disney, their trips to the Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park to observe the animals, and how they feel “Bambi” has affected fans’ appreciation and protection of the natural environment.

The 75th Anniversary Edition of Disney’s “Bambi” is available starting today on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anwhere, and will be available on Blu-ray starting Tuesday, June 6th.
