“The Force Awakens” coming to LEGOLAND Florida in 2018 with new LEGO Star Wars Miniland display

In honor of Star Wars Day today, LEGOLAND Florida has announced they will be bringing “Star Wars – Episode VII: The Force Awakens” to the park in miniature form.

The seventh exciting installment in the “Star Wars” film franchise will be added to LEGOLAND Florida’s detailed MINILAND Model Display, featuring scenes re-created with thousands of LEGO bricks, including moments with Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren and BB-8, all enhanced with lights, sound effects and animation.

The MINILAND expansion will officially debut in 2018.

Meanwhile, LEGO Star Wars Days returns to the park for four days this year:

Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event includes a chance ofr kids to help create a giant LEGO Star Wars mural, build models, search for droids, learn from Master Model Builders, meet LEGO Darth Vader, and work on the world’s largest LEGO Yoda model – all included in park admission.

The “Star Wars” area of LEGOLAND Florida’s Miniland first debuted in 2012 featuring scenes from the classic trilogy and prequels.
