Construction on a new $1.5 billion Wynn Resort called Paradise Park is scheduled to begin in late 2017/early 2018. The 20-acre lagoon will be the centerpiece of a complex that includes convention facilities, restaurants, retail, hotel rooms, a small casino, a boardwalk, and a white sand beach. Many of the bars and restaurants will have a beachy boardwalk theme.

The land is currently home to an 18-hole golf course and is located just east of the Wynn Las Vegas hotel. Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts, expects that nine holes of the golf course will remain when Paradise Park is completed.

The resort will also utilize the lagoon for entertainment. The goal is to host two shows per day that include music, with evening shows featuring a massive fireworks display.

No word on pricing for Paradise Park, but Wynn has not ruled out charging non-hotel guests for admission. Stay tuned for more updates as construction gets underway in a few months.
