Star Wars Celebration 2017 in Orlando is now half over, and the big Friday night event was held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park in Walt Disney World. Star Wars Galactic Nights included exclusive photo opportunities, character meet-and-greets, Imperial marches, a Star Wars talk show featuring actual celebrities from the movie and TV series, and even a DJ dance party.
But the highlight of the evening for fans of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and its upcoming sequel “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was the debut of Rey as a face character for the very first time in a Disney park. Rey appeared alongside BB-8 during the “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” live show in front of Hollywood Studios’ replica of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Star Wars Galactic Nights was a one-time only nighttime ticketed event in conjunction with Star Wars Celebration weekend, although one never knows what the future will bring for Star Wars at Walt Disney World.
