“Puppet Up! – Uncensored” live puppet improv show returns to The Jim Henson Company this week in Hollywood

in Events, Theater

After The Jim Henson Company sold The Muppets outright to The Walt Disney Company in 2004, Jim Henson’s son Brian Henson hatched his own pet puppet project: a live, no-holds-barred, adults-only puppet improv comedy show called “Puppet Up!” The show went up a number of times in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York (where it was known as “Stuffed and Unstrung”).

Now, just in time for its tenth anniversary, “Puppet Up! – Uncensored” is returning to its original home at The Jim Henson Company’s headquarters in the old Charlie Chaplin Studios complex in Hollywood, California. The completely-improvised show will be performed twice on the evening of Saturday, March 11th.

“For the first time ever, we are giving our loyal Hollywood fans the opportunity to spend an evening on our historic lot while enjoying hilarious uncensored mayhem,” Brian Henson said in a statement.
